Speechless. I’m not used to receiving such love, respect and care with blessings too. I’ve had to do it all myself for years with multiple visits to different hospitals in Utah and Colorado, and the Pentrose hospital with the Johnathon Zay house so near…is and will be the memory of love with deep gratitude at a very stressful time. I don’t wish for you to have to stay here…and if tragedy of health appears in your lifetime, this place is a lifeline to hope and a place for caregivers to feel cared for. Donate what you can, give gratitude freely and do onto others. Thanks to all the donors and volunteers who have manifested the word of God and Jesus. Had to stay here twice while my mom had emergency surgery, they were so welcoming. It made the whole ordeal so much smoother as I was right next door to the hospital, instead of paying for a hotel or driving several hours back and forth. I absolutely love this concept of offering support to the family as well, and the story is awesome if you get a chance to read it. These community based services are what give me hope for humanity, I'd like to see what we can do to have more houses like this built and operated because it was truly a blessing when needed. Thank you
This place was so great. The people are very sweet and the room was very clean. It was so nice to have a place like this when you are getting a procedure done like I had.
The John Zay House is a wonderful cozy home away from home when needed the most by patients and family. The ladies in the office are very kind and efficient in helping people with local information as well as making the check in process simple. It helped make a very difficult time much less difficult.
My experience at the John zayguest house was very awesome could not have asked for a better experience under the circumstances it made my stay so much more easier and it was very comfortable and peaceful I will be telling a lot of people about it

This is an amazing guest house for patients and family of Penrose Hospital. There are 22 private suites complete with bathroom and mini kitchen. The rooms are beautiful and the common areas are wonderful. Food is available in the common kitchen. It has been a delightful and stressless stay.
The staff is fantastic. Very clean. Allows registered service animals. We have been there 4 times. When you have family that is in the hospital or going for treatments. You have a lot to worry about. The hospital recommends John Zay Guesthouse. Very thankful for a place to stay.
